the unknown world: the silence of remembrances
This solemn, peaceful and contemplative work invites us to look at an unused and discarded material, the first moult of the canvas, to welcome it as a medium in its own right and to bring back its invisible memories. The result is a dialogue between creation, birth and death, a meditative and introspective inspiration in relation to nature, as well as symbolising a gesture towards it.
Also inspired by the Bönpos, the indigenous culture and religion of Tibet, the installation acts as a collection of offerings and prayers for nature and the elements, in peace and harmony.
reused plastic films from canvases, acrylic, thin rope, clips
