Having recently graduated from the Applied Art School of La Chaux-de-Fonds with a Federal Certificate of Capacity in Graphic Design, I find myself navigating a duality in what I hope will become my professional practices. On one hand, I am deeply engaged with graphic design, the discipline I formally studied, where I align closely with the principles of applied art. In my work as a graphic designer, I pay close attention to the relationship I have with my client, because that's what counts. Combined with my aesthetic sense and my cerebral and conceptual approach, it's the client's often interesting and accurate feelings that enable us to work hand in hand and make sparks fly!
        A large part of my practice revolves around the use of codes and references from our childhood and teen years. The culture that surrounds us when we're growing up represents the senses' comfort zone in which we'll be immersed for the rest of our lives; these are themes that are particularly close to my heart. I try, through my practice, to look at the source of the various references that have moved me in order to understand their semantics and codes so that I can use them across my spectrum of perceptions and turn them into an interesting artistic object. I also think that it's by reappropriating the codes of our comfort zone that we discover an unknown that teaches us more about ourselves. The link between introspective art and psychology interests me and I like to venture into it.
