Thibaut Cudré-Mauroux is a Swiss artist and graphic designer, graduated from the EAA in La Chaux-de-Fonds with a CFC in Graphic Design, and currently entering a Bachelor in Graphic Design at ECAL. His artistic practice continually questions the boundaries between design and art, through a so-called "total" practice in the expression of his universe entitled "The Unknown World", inspired by the visual and semantic codes of various cultural references from his childhood. Through this, he explores incomprehension and the inability to communicate as drivers of violence in human relationships, via sensitive and poetic translations. Singular typographic characters symbolizing traces of humanities preceding various stylistic movements dot the paths of this universe, offering numerous enigmas and messages from a generation overwhelmed by its own anxieties. Finally, he projects his work as fractures in time, offering us glimpses of a future that is by turns catastrophic and optimistic, all inspired by marine iconography, which in turn evokes one last inner dive, a breathless search for rescue from a humanity hurtling toward its own ruin.
As a visual communication practitioner, he offers a singular vision halfway between art and graphic design to clients seeking the most original and stylized communication, while also being fully capable of producing more corporate and contemporary visuals and concepts. It is with great enthusiasm and a desire to meet the humans behind each project that he offers you his services.
