the unknown world: snissa
Snissa is the interior meteorological office of the Unknown World. They hold a monopoly on the world's meteorological analysis by selecting certain entities from the population to come to the office, then proceeding to dissect their interiors in order to predict their inner weather. Now, it doesn't really work. Nevertheless, the inhabitants of this universe are very happy with this method.
This section of the Unknown World is, among other things, an iconographic reimagining of the meteorological field and the aesthetics of its technologies. A parallel is drawn with the aesthetic of the alternative rock band Muse (a true emotional cocoon and sensitive, referential nerve center for me), which often draws on spatial and extraterrestrial iconography in its videos and sounds (here we highlight the semantic proximity between science, cosmology, spatial structure, visually technical data, white, blue through to violets, then aliens and the meteorological domain).
The desire to forecast the weather, inner weather at that, is fundamentally absurd as it is an act of the heart. All of Snissa's efforts are sincere but very forced: total control is attempted, everything that happens is analyzed in search of solutions to predict the weather. Strangely, it doesn't work very well. Indeed, the ancestral method of dissection bears no fruit, but no one is truly capable of realizing it, the Unknown World simply making do.
The answer lies rather in the training of instinct, at the source of which sits our inner child, who seeks only to express itself. What belongs to the heart should be left to the heart, the problem being that Snissa's officials are idealistic by nature and have lost sight of their inner child. How then can one hope to find answers in the face of a silent world that will yield no analyzable data to a brain when reason prevails over the heart?
